Ertl is proud to introduce a special 4-piece set of 1/16 Precision John Deere 140 "Patio Series" Lawn and Garden Tractors with attachments.

 In 1969, John Deere introduced the Custom Color Series of lawn and garden tractors and attachments. This equipment is often referred to as the "Patio Models."  The "Patio Models" were not painted in the traditional John Deere green but in custom colors. The tractor was painted in base Dogwood White. The seats and hoods were offered in four colors, Patio Red, Sunset Orange, April Yellow, and Spruce Blue. The attachments were painted in Dogwood White.

 

You get Custom-Color on the big four.

Common features on all four tractors: The hood opens to reveal the engine, battery, and gas tank, movable hydrostatic shift lever, movable hydraulic levers,  movable throttle lever, movable choke lever, spring-loaded brake pedals, spring-loaded engine disconnect pedal, rotatingthe steering wheel will turn the front tires.

Rear mounted garden tiller features:

Raises and lowers, rear guard pivots, movable engagement lever.  Look for the future release of the second in the Precision

Lawn and Garden Series, the John Deere 140 Lawn and Garden tractor in the traditional John Deere green paint with the plow, disc, cultivator and planter implements. The tractor will feature Agricultural bar lug rear tires, front and rear wheel weights, integral hitch for attaching the implements.

Patio Red

Chrome plated front wheel covers and rear wheel weights on the tractor.

Front mounted blade features:

Raises and lowers, blade will angle to the right and left, spring-loaded blade will pivot forward and return to upright position, functional hydraulic cylinders.

Sunset Orange

Rear wheel weights and chains on the rear tires of the tractor.

Front mounted

snow blower features:

Raises and lowers, rotating auger, and rotating chute.

Spruce Blue

Chrome plated front and rear wheel covers.

Mower deck features:

Rotating mower blades and front drive unit.
